BOOK REVIEW: A Work in Progress

 Title: A Work in Progress

Author: Connor Franta

Rating: 5/5

It has been a trend lately for youtubers to write books and I love Connor Franta so I picked this book up at the store the day it was released and I read about 50 pages of it in the first sitting.

I put it down for a bit due to finals at school and when I picked it back up again I finished it in one sitting. It was a truly inspirational read and I would highly recommend it.

I originally picked this up because I’m a fan of Connor but I would recommend doing so even if you aren’t a fan of him! He wrote about some of the prevalent issues in today’s society like how our generation is not truly engaged in real life because of the distraction of cell phones and a lot of the topics he discussed really opened up my eyes and made me want to live my life and live in the moment.

This book also includes many childhood photos as well as recent photography and I felt that that aspect made reading the book that much more personal.

I read this book while listening to the audio book and I would recommend doing this if you’re a fan of Connor but reading it without the audiobook is just as fulfilling.

I don’t normally read this type of book but I’m very glad I did! I definitely want to read similar books in the future and hopefully I’ll enjoy them just as much!

Happy Reading!
